2023 Golf Blitz

9-Hole Scramble

 

SWING WITH THE KING GOLF BLITZ WILL BEGIN ON MARCH 21ST, 2023.

The blitz will take place every Tuesday and Thursday afternoon, weather permitting, promptly at 5:30PM.

If you are planning to play, please be at the course or contact the Pro Shop (912-729-7943)

‘no later than 5:00PM on the day of play. We will not be able to take any players after this time,

as we will begin making teams, so we can start play at 5:30PM.

 

This year we will be trying to mix it up a bit and play a different format every third week of the month.

The format for these weeks will be a two-person event and will be different than the normal scramble.

Please come out an enjoy a fun afternoon of golf and then enjoy some great food at Bogey’s Bar and Grille.

There is a special menu for both Tuesday and Thursday evenings.

FEES: SPECIAL NINE HOLE RATES FOR MEMBERS AND NON-MEMBERS PLUS $10.00 BUY IN PER PERSON

  • 1:30pm – Awards Ceremony and Deli Lunch

Format:

  • Thursday – Two Person Captain’s Choice
  • Friday – Best Ball (80% Handicap)

Eligibility:

  • Open to all Male & Female amateurs with a current USGA Handicap. (Those with no current USGA Handicap will be assigned a handicap of zero)
  • Professional golfers must play the black tees. No two professionals can be on the same team.
  • Maximum 8-stroke difference per team.

Prizes

  • Gross/Net Team Pay-Outs
  • Hole-In-One prizes for first Hole-In-One on each Par 3
  • Proximity Prizes
